A little help before you share.
Choose a photo or take a new one. Use Auto Detect or draw over sensitive areas, adjust your controls, then save an edited copy.
What if Auto Detect misses something?
Automatic text detection is a starting point. Draw over missed areas yourself, zoom in and inspect the exported photo before sharing. Detection can vary with text size, language and image quality.
How do I edit a small detail?
Pinch to zoom into your photo. Adjust the brush size and blur strength, and use undo or redo to refine your edits.
Can I remove GPS and EXIF information?
Enable Remove Metadata on Save. This strips metadata from the exported image. It does not remove visible information within the photo, so cover that separately.
Why can’t I save my photo?
Allow Blur Me to add photos when iOS asks. Check Photos permissions in Settings and make sure your device has available storage, then try saving again.
Are photos uploaded?
No. Blur Me edits and processes your images on your device. The app does not upload them to a developer-operated server.
